Kabhi Kabhi Episode – 17. Kabhi Kabhi is a play of Six Sigma Entertainment. Ahsan Khan and Mehwish Hayat are lead actors in the. Beth summed up Kabhi kabhie in two words - hypocrisy and moping - and I almost feel I have nothing to add to that. The film plods along through acres and acres of people feeling sorry for themselves, especially Amitabh Bachchan, who is lethargic, inert, and thoroughly wasted in this role.
With Urvashi Dholakia, Hiten Tejwani, Pankit Thakker, Daman Maan. The show is an emotional saga centered on two best friends, Sonia and Tanu. From childhood onward, they share everything with each other, be it their memories or the emotional highs and lows in their families. Kabhi Kabhie is a story about a young poet Amit (Amitabh Bachchan), and the young and beautiful Pooja (Rakhee Gulzar). It is a story about how these two young and loveable hearts visualise a perfect future together But destiny has other plans, as Pooja bows to the wishes of her parents and marries Vijay (Shashi Kapoor).
First of all, apologies for not reviewing the last two episodes, I just needed a break and was eagerly awaiting for a twist but alas till now it feels last three episodes have been more of fillers and things have been rushed, I mean in the three episodes Araiz and Ishal got divorced, Ishal completed seven months of her pregnancy and ended up having a premature delivery. Anyhow, it seems Ishal has finally learnt about her father’s sacchayi and real motives.
I had been wondering as to Ishal cannot see her father’s true intentions when everything was in front of her. He has never been her well-wisher yet she blindly trusted him, maybe because he was her father. Thankfully, Sunny didn’t play with her feelings for too long and spilled the beans slowly, I liked how he did that, didn’t give her all the jhatke at once. Coming back to her divorce with Araiz, I had never wanted that to happen but the couple turned out to be unbelievably demented and immature and ended up signing the papers.
All this while, I had been giving benefit of the doubt to Rehbar but alas his startling revelation that he had used Ishal to settle scores with his father-in-law but despite that I am kind of glad that he never wished bad upon her, he may have had different motives but those never caused harm to Ishal so all is well. Somewhere I had also wanted to him teach Ehsan (sorry for calling him Irfan in previous reviews) a lesson who left no stone unturned in making things tough for both his son-in-laws’. About time Ishal accepts the truth fully and reconciles with Araiz because they both are incomplete without each other. In turn Araiz’s family needs to treat her like a human being, give her the respect she deserves.
Next week’s preview suggests that Soni might send her rishta to Sunny’s which I feel may turn out to be interesting, she is hellbent on marrying him so yeah, let’s see if they get married at all (it’ll be such a interesting jodi no? Lol). Also there were two bloopers in the last episode, (I am not entirely sure if they were bloopers or were genuine) according to Soni Times Square is in Europe and apparently Soni is five years older than Ishal, how old are both of them then? This mystery shall never be answered!
The episode had some really great dialogues and some of the scenes were good too! I loved Mehwish Hayat’s expressions in the scene where Aly Khan tells her that he had used her to settle scores with his father-in-law. I cannot wait for the next episode and I hope we’ll see Araiz and Ishal reconciling!
